A method of predicting the future is described in which solar system waves are correlated with trends and events on Earth. A graph showing outer solar system waves from 1900 to 2100 is given in Graph. Peace in Ukraine and in Gaza is predicted in 2027. Three global wars are predicted: From 2035 to 2038, from 2058 to 2061, and from 2093 to 2098, respectively. A period of sustained economic growth is predicted for the 2070 decade. The risk of an epidemic or pandemic will be extreme in 2033, 2045, 2053-54, 2066, 2070, 2079, 2082, 2086, 2093 and 2094.

The predictions made in this post are based on my papers on the subject of political and economic forecasting that have been published in the British peer-reviewed research journal Correlation in 2002 and 2004. These papers are cited at the end of this article.
In Forecasting Political and Economic Cycles(2002, p.17), I predicted that “Political and economic activity in the 21st century will likely be a reverse of the 20th century, beginning with two successive periods of economic recession, recovery, and prosperity in the first two decades, followed by three periods of recession, depression, and global warfare in the last eight decades of the century.” This forecast has come true to date. The predictions made in this post are an elaboration of that earlier general forecast.
Fear of an apocalyptic end of the world is due to a misinterpretation of Matthew 24:3 in the Bible, resulting from its translation from Greek into English. The King James Version has ‘end of the world’ and the New International Version has ‘end of the age’. According to science, the world will continue to support life for another billion years, climate change notwithstanding.
Introduction
The forecasting method that I have developed is based on correlations between solar system waves and activities on Earth, and not on projections. As such, its predictions are equally accurate and precise in both the near and distant future. My forecasting method has a range of over 3,000 years into the future with current computer programs, with a resolution (precision) of one year on the scale of a century. This precision limits the number of planets that can be included in the correlations to the five planets of the outer solar system (Jupiter, Saturn, Uranus, Neptune and Pluto.)
First, some definitions: A wave is a disturbance in a medium that carries energy without a net movement of particles. A standing (stationary) wave is one in which the wave pattern does not move. A cycle is one complete period of a wave. A tone is a sound that is produced by a standing wave.
In the following explanations, the term ‘wave’ means ‘standing wave,’ and the terms ‘wave’ and ‘tone’ are used synonymously.
The solar system is a gigantic electromagnetic wave generator. It is a radio transmitter that transmits electromagnetic energy throughout the solar system, including the Earth, at extremely low frequencies (less than 4 cycles per year).
Waves carry energy (the ability to do work), and wave energy is proportional to frequency. The fact that the frequency of orbiting planets is extremely low has been used as an argument to discount the energy of planet waves. But energy is also proportional to amplitude, and the amplitude of orbiting planets is huge, so the energy of orbiting planets may actually be quite considerable.
As a planet orbits the sun, it generates a nearly-circular standing wave (tone) in the electrically-charged interplanetary medium (solar wind) emanating from the Sun. Multiply that by nine planets, plus the Moon, and you have a symphony of tones.
The Greek mathematician Pythagoras called this symphony ‘musica universalis’ (music of the spheres). The German astronomer Johannes Kepler suggested that the planets of the solar system produced tones as they orbited the Sun. Tones are produced by standing waves.
The collective unconscious mind of humanity appears to be correlated with these extremely low frequency planetary tones. As one person has stated, “The solar system is a musical instrument, and we are dancing to its tune.”
We danced to its tune during World War I and World War II in the 20th century. That is how powerful this tune can be. And we are going to dance to its tune again in the 2030, 2060 and 2090 decades of this century. The war in Ukraine is a prelude to that dance.
Method
Let’s have a look at how my forecasting method works.
There are two types of circular standing waves: Fundamental waves and harmonic waves. Let’s look at each type of wave in turn.
Fundamental Waves
The fundamental wave of a planet is the wave of lowest frequency, and it is generated by the planet’s orbit through space. One orbit equals one complete cycle of the fundamental wave.
An analogy would be to rub one’s finger in a circular motion around the rim of an empty wine glass. At a particular frequency, the circular motion causes the particles of the glass to resonate, producing a tone in the glass. The finger represents a planet, the circular motion represents the planet’s orbit, and the glass represents the solar wind.
The sum of the outer planets’ fundamental waves is called the complex fundamental wave (CFW). Waves that are in the same phase (same half cycle) are added to the complex fundamental wave, and waves that are in the opposite phase (opposite half cycle) are subtracted from it. This is called the superposition principle of wave interference.
Harmonic Waves
A harmonic wave (overtone) is a wave of higher frequency. It occurs when a planet (representing a node, or a point of zero amplitude) forms an angle with another planet that is a whole-number division of a circle (1/1, 1/2, 1/3, 1/4, 1/5, 1/6, etc.), inducing a node in the other planet’s fundamental wave, creating a harmonic wave.
An analogy would be to touch a vibrating guitar string lightly at the twelfth fret (equal to 1/2 the string length) with one’s finger, creating a node in the string and a harmonic tone that is double the frequency (an octave) of the fundamental tone.
The planets of the solar system are continuously generating harmonic waves as they orbit the Sun. These waves are correlated with annual human activity. Similar harmonic waves often occur several years in a row, accompanied by similar human activity several years in a row.
Some of these waves belong to the first-harmonic wave series. These include the first (1/1), second (1/2) and fourth (1/4) harmonics, and they are negative waves. They are correlated with recession, depression and warfare on Earth.
Some of these waves belong to the third-harmonic wave series. These include the third (1/3) and sixth (1/6) harmonics, and they are positive waves. They are correlated with peace, economic growth and prosperity on Earth.
There are other harmonic wave series, but the first-harmonic wave series and the third-harmonic wave series are the main ones that we need to consider.
Graph
By computing the complex fundamental wave and harmonic waves of the five outer planets of the solar system in the future, and by plotting these waves together on a multicolor graph, it is possible to make predictions about future human activity and biological activity that are statistically significant at the 95% confidence level (.05 significance level). That is equivalent to a probability of 19 times out of 20.
A screenshot of the graph below shows the annual complex fundamental wave (CFW) and harmonic waves generated by the outer solar system from 1900 through 2100. The CFW was computed using the planet ephemeris generator in Solar Fire version 9 (v9) published by Astrolabe Inc. Harmonic waves were computed using the planet transit-to-transit calculator in Solar Fire v9. The graph was produced using the spreadsheet utility in Microsoft Works, which is more suitable for this application than Microsoft Excel.

The CFW is shown as a line graph. Harmonic waves are shown as a 100% stacked bar graph, weighted proportional to amplitude, one bar per year. First-, second-, fourth-, sixth- and third-harmonic waves are labelled War/Pandemic, Depression/Epidemic, Recession/Outbreak, Peace/Growth and Boom/Prosperity, respectively. The annual intersection of the CFW and a harmonic wave represents the average or prevailing condition to be expected in that year.
Note the close alignment between historical events and planet waves during the Progressive Era, World War I, the Spanish Influenza pandemic, the Roaring Twenties, the Great Depression, World War II, the Korean War, the Vietnam War, the 1980s boom, the 1990s recession, the Great Recession of 2007-2009, the 2010s prosperity, and the 2020s wars and recessions.
Note also the years 1918, 1981 and 2020, corresponding to the heights of the Spanish Influenza, AIDS and COVID-19 pandemics, respectively.
The elevation of the CFW in the graph is correlated with the regional extent of warfare: Upper third – national/civil warfare; middle third – international warfare; lower third – global warfare. The lower the elevation of the CFW in the graph, the more widespread and intense the warfare will be.
The CFW was in the upper half of the graph of the 21st century in the 2000 and 2010 decades, indicating relatively buoyant times during those decades. (The Great Recession of 2007-2009 was due to negative harmonic waves.)
The CFW will be in the lower half of the graph for most of the rest of the century. This indicates that warfare will be at the international or global level of engagement for most of this century. International warfare is currently intensifying and becoming more widespread.
What’s Happening Now
The CFW has been dropping since 2019, and it will continue to drop until 2027. The CFW is like a barometer that registers air pressure – the lower it goes, the rougher the weather that can be expected. But this is not the whole story. The elevation of the CFW is correlated with regional extent. The harmonic wave series determines whether times will be good or bad.
In 2020 the outer solar system began generating a series of negative harmonic waves, correlated with the COVID-19 pandemic (2020-present), the Russo-Ukraine War (2022-present), and the Israel-Hamas War (2023-present). These biological and human activities will prevail through the year 2026.
The period 2020-26 will also be a period of increased seismic activity (earthquakes, volcanic eruptions and tsunamis).
Positive third-harmonic-series waves will increase from 2025 to 2028, peaking in 2027. My prediction: Peace will be established in Ukraine and in Gaza in 2027. There will be global economic growth and a real estate boom in 2027 and 2028.
However, world peace will be short-lived, because the harmonic waves become negative again in the 2030 decade. My prediction: The world will witness a gradual descent toward global warfare from 2030 to 2035, culminating in World War III.
Think back to the Biblical time of Joseph in Egypt in Genesis 41:25-27, and the seven years of abundance followed by seven years of famine. The same harmonic wave principle applied then as it does today.
The level of resolution of this methodology is one year on the scale of one century. I cannot predict in advance which nations will go to war, although I have a methodology in mind to do this. At present, I can only predict when warfare is likely to occur, and whether it will be at the national, international or global level of engagement.
However, it seems pretty obvious that the combatants in a forthcoming global war will be capitalist nations versus communist nations – in other words, NATO versus the communist bloc, which includes the Russian Federation, China and North Korea, and possibly Iran. That is how these nations are currently aligning themselves.
Long Term Predictions of War
There will be three global wars in this century: World War III (2035-38), World War IV (2058-61) and World War V (2093-98). These global wars will not be as severe as World War I (1914-18) or World War II (1939-45), but the possibility of nuclear warfare could result in more deaths during these wars than during World War I or World War II.
There will be five periods of major international warfare in this century: From 2022 through 2026, from 2030 through 2034, from 2045 through 2054, from 2079 through 2082, and from 2085 through 2086. International warfare in 2085-86 will border on global warfare.
Peace will be established in Ukraine and in Gaza in 2027.
Long Term Predictions of Economy
With the exception of the 2070 decade, I do not foresee any extended periods of global economic growth during the rest of this century. There will only be economic growth for a year or two now and then. The best time this century from both a political and economic perspective will be the 2070 decade.
The years of economic growth or prosperity in the remainder of this century will be: 2027-28, 2044, 2046, 2049, 2055-56, 2064, 2068, 2071-72, 2074-75, 2077-78, 2084, 2087 and 2091-92.
The years of economic downturn or recession in the remainder of this century will be: 2025, 2029-31, 2034, 2036, 2039, 2041-43, 2045, 2047-48, 2050-51, 2054, 2057, 2059, 2062-63, 2065, 2067, 2069-70, 2073, 2076, 2079-81, 2083, 2088-90, 2095, 2097 and 2099.
Long Term Predictions of Pandemics
In 1981, at the height of the global AIDS epidemic, there were three first-harmonic waves. In 2020, at the height of the COVID-19 pandemic, there were five first-harmonic waves. We won’t see five first-harmonic waves again for the rest of this century, but there will be a number of years with three first-harmonic waves.
The risk of an epidemic or pandemic will be extreme in 2033, 2045, 2053-54, 2066, 2070, 2074, 2082, 2086, 2093 and 2094.
The COVID-19 pandemic of 2020-present will be the most severe pandemic of this century.
The 2020 Decade
In 2024 there will be an escalation of international warfare and an increase in pandemic.
In 2025 warfare and pandemic will be in a holding pattern, accompanied by international economic recession.
In 2026 there will be an escalation of international warfare and an increase in pandemic.
In 2027 and 2028 there will be peace and economic growth, and a decrease in pandemic.
In 2029 there will be international economic recession, and an increase in pandemic.
The 2030 Decade
Beginning in 2030 there will be progressive escalation of international warfare, particularly in 2032 and 2033. This escalating international warfare will be in a holding pattern in 2034, but it will become global warfare from 2035 through 2038. Warfare will continue in 2039 and 2040, but at the international level rather than the global level of engagement.
The risk of an epidemic or pandemic will be extreme in 2033.
Annual Predictions
The table below summarizes my annual predictions for the remainder of the 21st century. Warfare occurs somewhere in the world every year, but if it is not included in this table, it should not be too serious.

Michael Blake Read (1938-2013) was a Canadian trance psychic and president of Michael Blake Read Consulting Ltd. in White Rock, British Columbia, Canada. Michael stated that warfare will be with us for another two thousand years. By the year 4000, the concept of war will no longer be known, and our civilization will make great strides forward.
The implication of Michael’s prediction for the future is that humanity will survive both the climate barrier (global warming) and the uranium barrier (nuclear self-destruction).

“So far, the only theory that can claim to solve the mystery of what happened before the Big Bang is the ten-dimensional superstring theory. Scientists are just now (in 1994) conjecturing how the ten-dimensional universe split into a four- and a six-dimensional universe. What does our twin universe look like?
“At the beginning of time, the [ten-dimensional] universe was perfectly symmetrical. If anyone was around at that time, he could freely pass through any of the ten dimensions without [a] problem. At that time, gravity and the weak, the strong, and the electromagnetic forces were all unified by the superstring. All matter and all forces were part of the same string multiplet.
“However, this symmetry couldn’t last. The ten-dimensional universe, although perfectly symmetrical, was unstable… and in a false vacuum. Thus tunneling to a lower-energy state was inevitable. When tunneling finally occurred, a phase transition took place, and symmetry was lost. Because the universe began to split up into a four- and a six-dimensional universe, the universe was no longer symmetrical.”
The four-dimensional universe is the one in which we live, and because we can’t see the six-dimensional universe, physicists have assumed that the extra dimensions are curled up. But in 2005 a physicist named Lisa Randall, in a book titled Warped Passages: Unravelling the Mysteries of the Universe’s Hidden Dimensions, showed that hidden dimensions can be as large as the dimensions in the four-dimensional universe.
String theory has since been updated to include eleven dimensions, which means that the six-dimensional universe would have seven dimensions.
The four-dimensional universe corresponds to the physical universe in which we live, and the seven-dimensional universe corresponds to the metaphysical (beyond the physical) universe, or the astral realm, which we call heaven, that is superimposed upon the Earth. Most people are unable to perceive this realm with their five physical senses, but some gifted people, whom we call psychics or clairvoyants, who have a sixth sense, are able to perceive this realm and its inhabitants.

Our seven continents; our mountain ranges, plains, and deserts; our oceans, seas, and rivers; our forests, jungles, islands, foothills, and every other work of nature on earth all exist in their original perfection on The Other Side. Because there is no erosion, pollution, or destruction there, the mountain ranges are as sharp and soaring, the bodies of water are as pure and azure blue, and the coastlines are as ruggedly intact as they were thousands and thousands of years ago. On The Other Side, where time does not exist, where every living thing always was and always will be, nothing ages, nothing rots, nothing corrodes. Every square inch of land and water is magnificently, eternally new.
“That includes earth’s two lost continents. Atlantis thrives on the ocean on The Other Side that corresponds to our Atlantic, and in their Pacific lies the huge, flourishing continent of LeMuria.
“The familiarity of Home isn’t limited to natural wonders. Many of the human-made wonders on earth actually existed on The Other Side first and were subconsciously remembered and re-created here. It is no coincidence that such breathtaking marvels as the Pyramids, the Sphinx, the Hanging Gardens of Babylon, the Great Wall of China, and the Taj Mahal grace the landscape of The Other Side, as uncompromised as if they were just completed this morning. The Parthenon is intact and lovingly tended. The original Venus de Milo and all other great works of art over the centuries, which were so beautifully duplicated here, have not been even slightly touched by the cruelty of vandals, thieves, wars, time, or the elements. The great libraries of Alexandria, destroyed by fire on earth, are perfectly preserved there, and the Dead Sea Scrolls not only look brand-new but are also as fondly read and understood on The Other Side as a child’s storybook. Even the Greco-Roman style of architecture was originated at Home and then lovingly paid tribute to on earth. In fact, as we’ll see shortly, the first buildings that greet us beyond the tunnel are built in that classic style we associate here with graceful, understated grandeur.
“There is actually a constant reciprocity of beauty between The Other Side and earth. While great artists, architects, and builders continue to reproduce on earth some of the most beloved wonders of Home through infused memories, there are cherished earthly sites that been reproduced on The Other Side as well, for their beauty, holiness, and the comforting continuity they create between the two dimensions. The Garden of Gethsemane, for example, which Christ’s presence made sacred, is identically replicated on The Other Side, as are such other revered places as Mecca, the Vatican, and St. Patrick’s Cathedral. So whether we’re on earth or at Home, we can always find our way to a familiar place to worship God and celebrate His presence.
The Weather
“There is no precipitation on The Other Side, no rain, snow, sleet or hail. There is no wind stronger than an occasional gentle breeze, no heat waves, and no cold fronts. Instead, the weather there is an eternally calm, clear seventy-eight degrees [fahrenheit].
“The constancy of the temperature and the perpetual absence of any precipitation at all, rather than becoming tedious, provides the residents of The Other Side with an infinite source of refreshing steadfastness and uninterrupted beauty. The universally consistent climate makes every location at home equally comfortable – no one ever has to worry about being too hot or too cold, or about floods, tornadoes, or any other weather-related disruption in perfection.
“The sun, moon, and stars are not visible on The Other Side, and day and night do not exist. The light there is a constant blend of soft, reassuring pastels, like a freeze frame of the quiet rosy violet of earth’s most vibrant summer dawn or dusk.”

The Spiritual Realms
“As Wordsworth so beautifully expresses, we are on an endless journey between [earth] and heaven. As with any journey on which we embark, there is always the anticipation of having an exciting adventure. Wouldn’t it be nice to look upon our life’s last journey as nothing short of the same? The truth is that we have taken the journey many times before and will take it many times again.
“When an individual leaves the physical world, she leaves behind a heavy, dense body that has inhabited an equally dense, heavy world. Such a transition can be compared to removing a winter overcoat, or a snake sloughing off its outer skin. In essence, we do the same. When we die, we are finished using our human form, and so we let it go. Nothing is lost except the physical body. The complete soul self remains intact; the astral, mental and physical bodies are still alive and well. Even our personality, with all its feelings, likes, dislikes, emotions, and desires, stays the same.
Entering a New World
“No matter how spiritually evolved a person has become, he begins a new existence in what is known as the astral world. In many ways the astral world is as solid and as real as the physical earth – a kind of etheric counterpart to the earth. This invisible (to our physical eyes) interpenetrates and extends around the earth and is made of etheric energy that vibrates at frequencies beyond the physical spectrum. The astral world is composed of a number of levels, and each level corresponds to a particular etheric frequency.
“The level of the astral world that is closest to the physical earth can be described as a type of reception area. This region is significant to newly arriving souls for two very important reasons. First, it provides an environment that duplicates the earth in every way possible. As a multi-dimensional existence it possesses houses, buildings, universities, concert halls, gardens, lakes, and everything that is recognizable to our material minds. This eases the shock of passing out of a solid, physical world. Second, it is a place that allows a spirit to become accustomed to the afterlife slowly. In the astral world, a spirit begins to live a more rarified, spiritual existence and must eventually cast off its past earthly memory patterns, behaviours, and desires.
“A newly arriving spirit will gravitate to the particular level of the astral world that corresponds to the frequency of its astral body’s vibration. It will enter encased in a very real and tangible astral body, and will be as real there as it was here.
The Astral World
“The world Molly’s mother described (in a previous section) is sometimes referred to as The Summerland. This astral world is in many ways as solid as the physical earth, although its energy is light and ethereal. When an individual soul makes the transition to the astral level of existence, it enters with its astral body. Like the etheric body that is shed at the time of death, the astral body is an exact copy of the physical body, complete with arms, legs, fingers, toes, etc. However, it does not contain any illness or infirmity. For instance, anyone who is blind or deaf, or in a wheelchair, or has a terrible illness that leaves the body in a deteriorated condition, will not bring these disabilities into the spiritual realms. No matter if an arm or leg is lost in an explosion, or a body is totally annihilated by disaster or war, a spirit arrives in perfect form. These afflictions are purely the effects of a physical body in a physical world. They are not the conditions of the spirit world or the spirit body.
The spirit body is whole and perfect and can never by destroyed or harmed!
“Although our spirit bodies arrive in perfect condition, our personalites, composed of accumulated memories, prejudices, yearnings, and sensibilities, do not change. In fact, our entire mental and emotional outlook remains completely unaltered. Everything we have ever experienced in the physical world is inscribed in our soul pattern. It is ironic, in a way. On earth we spend so much time making sure our bodies look good and spend so little time on things that matter, such as improving our relationships or being true to ourselves. After we die, all the effort we put into taking care of our bodies won’t matter because they will look great anyway. However, we will still be stuck with all the same problems and uncertainties that we thought would vanish with death.
“A newly arrived soul finds itself on a spiritual level that is made up of the accumulation of character traits and various earthly experiences that it had created before death. In other words, a soul gravitates to a state of existence that contains its interests. Souls with matching interests join together on a similar spiritual level.
Earthly Illusions
“One of the first illuminations that touches spirits upon entering the astral world is an absence of time.
There is no time in the spirit world.
“However, since a spirit has so recently passed from a world of clocks and calendars, the memory of time has a strong hold in its thought processes, and its natural inclination is to wonder what day it is. A spirit might think it has been out of the physical body for just a few moments when in actual earth time it has been gone for three days.
“Realizing this discrepancy confirms to a spirit that it is no longer bound by the limitations of the physical world. In the spirit regions time is not measured by the position of the sun and stars but by involvement in experience. A spirit literally has all the time it needs; it is more concerned with what it wants to do rather than the time it takes to do it.
“Equally confusing to arriving spirits is the fact that in the physical world physical laws and boundaries, such as gravity and sound and speed, no longer apply. Spirits find out very quickly that they are not limited by a fixed world. In the fourth [spatial] dimension and beyond, spirits are able to be in several places at the same time, and the mode of transportation is thought. Spirits have no need to speak because they can read each other’s thoughts. As I have said before, all situations are created by our thoughts even in the life beyond.
“Family members on earth assume that their deceased loved ones on the other side are privy to the entire plan of creation, and they expect all of heaven’s secrets to be revealed. Often I am asked, “Why can’t a spirit tell me the answers?” Or, “If she loves me, she would certainly help me out.” The truth is that spirits love us enough not to give us the answers. They know that for a loved one to grow and advance, he must go through experiences without any sort of psychic hints. Spirits will not hinder our spiritual growth by telling us answers that rob us of the need to understand certain situations. We must live through our experiences in order to gain wisdom and fly higher.
“While a newly arrived spirit does possess a keener awareness or an expansion of consciousness, its knowledge is limited to the spiritual level at which it finds itself. And as its consciousness expands, the most significant insight a spirit will gain is a broader realization of the harmonic oneness to everything. A spirit realizes that it is united by a common denominator to every other expression of life. The ingredient that makes all things possible is the unyielding and never-ending element of love.
A Time to Reflect
“Along with this perception of unity, a spirit becomes cognizant of its entire soul composition. It knows clearly the complete history of all of its lifetimes of experiences. There is a point when a spirit begins to judge and examine every experience, moment and instant of its recently departed life. It probes every thought, feeling and action taken, and views what has been a contribution to its soul’s growth and what has been an impairment. In other words, it does a comparison report. It measures how well it has fulfilled the original soul plan.
“In this re-evaluation process a soul might realize that in order to gain the most wisdom from a certain experience, it might need to repeat a similar situation in a future existence on earth. This initiates what is referred to as the karmic process, i.e., a carryover of an experience from one life to another in order to gain spiritual awareness. This process is not meant as punishment for doing something “wrong.” It is merely a spiritual evaluation of the experience. If a soul believes it can redo the experience in a better way, it will return to do it over. A spiritual being recognizes its immortality; it knows that it is responsible for all conditions it has caused in the past and all those it will create in the future.
The World You Create
“There is a view that heaven is filled with winged angels playing harps and floating on clouds. This is purely a myth. A spirit’s home in the spirit realms is a precise reflection of its life achievements and/or transgressions while on earth. After it has adapted to its new world, it is quite common for a newly arrived soul to be greeted by a spirit teacher and taken on a tour, so to speak, to witness the various levels and expressions of spiritual life. This excursion demonstrates how far a spirit has risen in soul consciousness as well as how it can attain a higher level of spiritual growth. There are as many levels of spiritual regions as there are mind-sets. So many times I tell people in my lectures, “You are responsible for creating your own heaven or your hell based on your thoughts, words, and deeds.” The environment is within each person. Ordinary people who attempt to live a decent life by respecting one another and demonstrating love whenever they can have no need to worry about their afterlife existence. They will gravitate to a wonderful level of unlimited peace, joy, and love. Based on the multitude of readings I have done, let’s look at what the average good-hearted person’s environment might look like after she passes into spirit.
“As you begin to look around, the first thing you would observe is incredible beauty. You would discover radiant, manicured gardens as far as the eye can see with each flower bursting forth in brilliant color. The vivid colors in the spirit world are beyond our natural, earthly spectrum. Everything in this environment is literally ‘lit up’ and crystal clear. The light of the realm does not originate from any sun or star; it is known as the Astral Light. This illumination causes the colors to change in order to complement a particular type of environment. Because all things are harmoniously connected, you might think of this glowing effervescence as a reflection of the light that shines within each spirit.
“The next thing you would notice is the scent. The rarified atmosphere together with the sweet, flowered perfume of each bloom creates an angelic aroma. So often the spirits have said that they instantly possessed a heightened sensitivity to the exquisitely sweet smell of their environment. The unyielding scent and beauty of this heavenly expanse is beyond words to describe. It is a perfect world filled with rolling emerald meadows and magnificent forests. These bountiful trees need no pruning or care; there are no falling leaves. Everything is so alive and in harmony with every other part. This bit of heaven is a place where nothing is out of order, where everything is in accord.
“Besides the beauty, there exist schools of knowledge housed in extraordinary buildings created with materials unfamiliar to our earthly minds. In fact, the buildings appear to have a translucent, opalescent quality. Perhaps that is where the term pearly gates derived.
“Every type of education and instruction can be found in these great buildings – art, music, languages, philosophy, the sciences, or theatrical arts. Each hall of learning has its own thought atmosphere. This thought ambience is created from the feelings of the people enjoying their interests, and the love of the architect who used his expertise to design the building. Everyone shares in the intent of the building and the vision of the one who created it.
The Dark Land
“Although it would be impossible to describe in detail all the levels that exist in the astral world, suffice it to say, there are some less exalted ones. In order to give you an overall view, I think it would be beneficial to describe one extreme condition of the astral level that has been called hell. This lower astral region is not a place of beauty and sweetness. Rather, it is a condition brought into existence by the thoughts, words and actions of those who have produced pain and suffering on earth. All of us will reap what we have sowed. No one is exempt. So a spirit that has lived an earthly life of injustice, cruelty and hate might find itself here.
“This lower region vibrates at a much slower rate than the upper regions. Here the light is dim and fades almost to a faint darkness. The atmosphere in this region resembles a scene right out of a Dickens novel. A pungent and unpleasant odour pervades it. Shadowy figures squirm from place to place in what seems to be an endless dance of restlessness. There is no safe refuge for a tormented soul when it is trying to flee from its own baseness. The astral body of a spirit in the lower regions is not the same as in the heavenly spheres. Sometimes it is misshapen or missing parts and appears to be destroyed or miserable. The dwellings on this level are not made of marble and stone but stacks of rotting wood.
“Spirits in such a dark realm harbor mental attitudes of hate, malice and the need for control over others; they are ruled by the lowest elements of the physical world. The inhabitants can be murders, rapists, thieves, swindlers, cheaters, assassins, or anyone who has harmed another human being. We often think of these types of people as lost souls, and in a way they are, for they wander aimlessly and prey on one another. A soul remains in this darkened hole until all of its lowest desires are lived out. Only when it comes into spiritual awareness can it move to the upper portions of the astral plane. When such a depraved soul has the slightest inkling of wrongdoing, a spirit guide immediately appears to help it. No one is ever really lost because the God Force energy is within each soul.
“There are many other caliginous places where spirits reside. They may not be as physically repellent as the one I have just describe; nevertheless they are bleak. Like hell, these dwellings are molded out of negative mental attitudes and the darkness of spiritual ignorance.
The Evolving Spirit
“The astral world is like an intermediary step in a spirit’s progression, a place where all the basic and lower emotional needs are lived out in their totality. As a spirit continues its journey, sooner or later it will become disenchanted with earthly dreams and longings and will begin to awaken to a higher aspect of its consciousness. When a soul is ready to lift higher, there will be a complete sloughing off of the old earthly memories and patterns of thinking.
The Higher Life
“This releasing of the earthly patterns and lower elements of the emotional body refines and lightens a personality. As these old remnants are left behind to disintegrate in the lower astral regions, a spirit goes through another death of a sort. Hinduism and spiritualism actually call this a second death, when the lower bodies of an individual’s spirit are cast off. This death enables a soul to advance to a higher spiritual sphere and become a more enlightened being. A spirit moves into the true Heaven world.
“This ‘Heaven’ is not a different ‘place,’ for there are no physical borders in the spiritual world. The ‘geography’ is not delineated as it is on earth. Instead, there are different vibratory rates, and more evolved spirits gravitate to higher etheric frequencies. The higher the frequency, the brighter and purer the light of the land. When I say ‘land,’ I am actually referring to a state of consciousness. When spirits reach this higher frequency, they resonate with and reflect the glory of the divine harmonic essence (God).”
“And I saw the dead, great and small, standing before the throne, and books were opened. Another book was opened, which was the book of life. The dead were judged according to what they had done as recorded in the books.” (Bible, Revelation 20:12, New International Version)
The following passage has been taken from Richard Laurence (1995) The Book of Enoch the Prophet, San Diego: Wizards Bookshelf, 80:1-3
“[The angel Uriel] said, O Enoch, look on the book which heaven has gradually dropped down (distilled); and, reading that which is written in it, understand every part of it.
“Then I looked on all which was written, and [I] understood all, reading the book and everything written in it, all the works of man;
“And of all the children of flesh upon earth, during the generations of the world.”
The following passages have been taken from Gina Cerminara (1950) Many Mansions: The Edgar Cayce (pronounced Kay’-see) Story On Reincarnation, New York: Penguin Books, 1991, pp.42-44
“Akasha is a Sanskrit word that refers to the fundamental etheric substance of the universe, electro-spiritual (energetic) in composition. Upon this Akasha there remains impressed an indelible record of every sound, light, movement or thought since the beginning of the manifest (perceived by the senses) universe. The existence of this record accounts for the ability of clairvoyants and seers literally to see the past, no matter how remote it may be and no matter how inaccessible to ordinary human knowledge. Akasha registers impressions like a sensitive plate, and can almost be regarded as a huge candid-camera of the cosmos. The ability to read these vibratory records lies inherent within each of us, dependent upon the sensitivity of our organization, and consists in attuning to the proper degree of consciousness – much like tuning a radio to the proper wavelength. In his normal waking state, Edgar Cayce was unable to subjugate his physical consciousness sufficiently to make this attunement; under hypnosis, however, he was able to do so.
“Of all the strange statements that had come from his sleeping lips, this, to Cayce, seemed the most utterly strange. Yet by repeated incredulous questioning the same explanation always came through, sometimes in the same words, sometimes with elaborations. Frequently the readings indicated that the “Akashic Records” could also be called the “Universal Memory of Nature” or “The Book of Life.” They also advanced the point taught about the reality of Akasha many centuries ago [by the Hindus]. In view of the fact that several other Hindu notions – namely the illusory, non-solid nature of “matter”; the interchangeability of matter and force; and the reality of thought transference through telepathic means – had only recently been confirmed by Western science, why not be open-minded at least as to the possibility of this other Hindu idea, Akasha, as well?
“Cayce suspended judgement on the point for a long time. The unconscious-mind explanation might conceivably cover past-life individual histories, but how account for the ready, copious, and detailed material that flowed from him in “research readings” on past eras of history, such as Atlantis, Egypt, or the times of Jesus? Could it be that this information was being drawn from the unconscious mind of somebody who had lived in those eras, even though the individual was not ostensibly the subject of the reading? Or was he really reading some vast tapestry of history, preserved in an unknown and tenuous dimension of the universe?1

“In the end Cayce came to accept even Akasha – not because there was absolute proof of it, but because the readings had said it was so, and the readings in all other provable respects had proved themselves honest. Perhaps investigators into extrasensory perception will demonstrate that on this point the Cayce information went off the beam; perhaps some other explanation will account for the facts of his clairvoyance into the past. Perhaps, on the other hand, some scientific mind of our era will be able to show that Akasha really does exist – no more fantastic a thing than radio waves, radium, atomic energy, or the memory engrams of the human nervous system.”
The following passages are taken from Sylvia Brown (1995) Phenomenon: Everything You Need to Know About the Paranormal, New York: Dutton, pp.5-7
“There seems to be general agreement among the majority of the world’s faiths, cultures and philosophies that the Akashic Records exist. What’s not quite so unanimously agreed upon is where they exist and how to describe exactly what they are.
“The Hindus, whose religion is thought to date back as far as 4000 BC, believe in a universal substance called “akasha,” from which the natural substances of fire, water, air and earth were created. Eternally imprinted on that substance is every thought, word and action in the history of the universe, collectively called the Akashic Records.
“The brilliant prophet and clairvoyant Edgar Cayce wasn’t as specific about the existence of an “akasha” substance. But he certainly believed in the existence of the Akashic records, which he perceived to be the collective memories and histories of every thought, sound, physical and emotional vibration, major event and incidental moment in eternity, an atmospheric presence that affects us all and [that] we all effect with every breath we take. In his “Reading 294-19 Report File,” Cayce detailed one of his visits to the Akashic Records:
“I see myself as a tiny dot out of my physical body, which lies inert before me. I find myself oppressed by darkness and there is a feeling of terrible loneliness. Suddenly, I am conscious of a white beam of light. As this tiny dot, I move upward following the light, knowing that I must follow it or be lost… I become conscious of sounds, at first indistinct rumblings, then music, laughter, and singing of birds. There is more and more light, the colors become very beautiful, and there is the sound of wonderful music… Quite suddenly I come upon a hall of records… I am conscious of seeing an old man who hands me a large book, a record of the individual for whom I seek information.”
“Carl Jung, the noted psychologist, preferred to describe the Akashic Records as a powerful, tangible force of nature throughout the universe that he called the Collective Unconscious, kind of an eternal and infinite embodiment of the principle that for every action there’s an equal but opposite reaction.
“My definition of the Akashic Records is consistent with those philosophies. The Akashic Records are the entire sacrosanct body of God’s knowledge, laws and memories. They’re absolutely imprinted on the ether of every planet, solar system and galaxy that God created. But they also very literally exist in written form, perfectly printed in the universal language of Aramaic, in a magnificent building on the Other Side called the Hall of Records.
“We have the honor of perpetual access to the Akashic Records when we’re at home on the Other Side. Our spirits, safely housed in our unconscious minds, have perpetual access to them as well during our fleeting incarnations here on earth. During sleep, hypnosis, meditations or physiological unconsciousness, when our noisy, chaotic, conscious minds are temporarily out of the way, our spirits know exactly where the Akashic Records are and how to get there. We turn to them more often than we consciously realize for answers, for clarity, for comfort and for the nourishment only God can provide.
“Please don’t let me create the mistaken impression that among the impossibly vast aisles of the Hall of Records, taking up an incomprehensible amount of space on shelves more endless than we can imagine, there are actual volumes entitled “Akashic Records.” Instead, let the correct impression wash over you that as you stand inside this very real, unimaginably infinite structure and try to take in scrolls upon scrolls upon scrolls, volumes upon volumes upon volumes, lined upon shelves upon shelves upon shelves far beyond what the eyes can begin to see, you’re gazing at a fraction of the entirety of the Akashic Records. They have no beginning. They have no end. They are being added to with every passing moment of every life, every new thought, every spirit entering a fetus, every spirit returning Home. The Hall of Records contains the Akashic Records, but it can also be said that every fluid word contained within the infinite Hall of Records is the Akashic Records, and that they’ve been added to considerably since you began reading this paragraph.
The following passages have been taken from Michael Blake Read/Philippa M. Lee and Associates (1978) The Evergreens: Visitors of Time and Space, Toronto: Emanation Press, pp.17-24. The publication has been copy-edited for clarity and accuracy:
“The universe is scattered with life. There is nothing more common than life. In this inhabited universe there are many life forms: Some who are advanced and some who are not. None are better nor worse than any other. That is true, also, of those upon the earth, the third planet from the sun.
“Some have achieved the ability to travel from one location to another and the ability to extend this beyond local planetary distances. Others go beyond even this. These travelers, ambassadors, meeters, explorers, greeters, travel much.
“Those who travel to this third planet from the sun do not see this as a backwater, do not see this as upon the rim of the stellar formation, or at the edge of the galaxy. When one does not worry about time, then one does not worry about distance. That which is sixteen, eighteen, two hundred light years away becomes the same as that which exists one mile away.1

“Those who travel from one place to another to explore another civilization are not omnipotent. They call themselves by one name, for every civilization does this. They call themselves “man”. Try drawing a correlation between man who exists on the third planet from the sun and man who exists in the system Bootes (pronounced Bow-ah’-tees) [the Herdsman], and you will note that certain similarities exist.
“In the reticular (kite) formation of the star chart, the system Bootes is the closest port to the earth. It is the home base for some, it is a way-station for others and, therefore, many of those, though not all, who travel to this sphere do not originally come from Bootes. There are those who are capable of traveling vast distances. Between all of the civilizations who have gone beyond destruction of themselves, there is the sharing of technology, the sharing of civilization, and the sharing of sharing.
“Those who travel are of many beginnings. We do not mean that they have become different because of pattern lines, but they began from different beginnings. There are those who are tall; there are those who are short. While there are those in the universe who have green skin, the combination of short, green, manlike creature, as often depicted in fiction, does not exist.
The Tall Aliens
“Those who are tall are from a point where their light reaches earth from the time that they had yet to even evolve from exoskeletal. The light takes approximately fourteen-and-one-half million light years [to reach earth]. This part of the galaxy has yet to be mapped by astronomers, and they do not even know of its existence.
“These tall entities have trouble absorbing light spectra in the infrared area; the eyes are small. The skin is virtually hairless. The ribs are extremely flat and overlap each other. This is from the time when they were basically an armoured race, covered with something very like the platelets of an armadillo, however, rib-shaped. These individuals went through great turmoil, however, their greatest change was when the lines of breeding changed and they worked from an exoskeletal situation and covered themselves with a skin. The breathing is done through a three-lung system and their air has a high sulphur content. Their height ranges between six and a half [feet] to seven feet. They have opposable thumbs and [they] can touch with the thumb each one of their other four digits.
“They communicate by voice and by telepathy; however, telepathy is mostly used at greater distances. Face to face, a combination of both [voice and telepathy] is most often used [to communicate].
“Their intelligence can be judged or ascertained in many ways. They have the intelligence to see what is hot before touching it. Their minds work out much and, from a small piece of information, can garner much.
“For instance, you would say your name, ‘Miss Beth Kendall’. From that, it is easily seen that certain things are shown. One, an unmarried state. Two, female. Three, that there is a necessity for two names, not one; in other words, that there is a structure of names. Much can be ascertained from this name. However, if you would say ‘Beth Kendall’ four or five times, by the second time these entities would see those areas of stress within the words, would understand the character and the characteristics of the self and by applying what is known about the civilization, they could give approximately what you are, were and will be.
The Short Aliens
“The small (short) ones are not opposites to the tall ones, for there are certain tall ones who are also extremely hairy. However, the shorter ones are in many ways hairy. These [short] individuals come from a planet that received little light and little heat and the sustenance was low. They come from just beyond the system Bootes in the reticular formation of stars. These individuals are best described as very close neighbours of the Booteans. They evolved small, stayed small, averaging between four foot one inch and five [foot] two [inch], five [foot] three [inch]; one who is beyond five foot [tall] is considered very tall.
“They kept [their] hair because hair kept their ancestors warm. The eyes have a reflective state. Nature, you see, in its wisdom does not waste a good idea, and you will find that these individual’s eyes are virtually the same as certain animals on earth that have been evolving from low-light conditions or are basically nocturnal. These individuals are nocturnal. A good combination is to have a crew of both of these (nocturnal and diurnal).
“They breathe air that is very high in nitrogen, low in oxygen, medium amounts of dioxides and other gases, very similar to this planet, the third planet from the sun. They call their planet “earth” also. That is why communication of concepts will be simple. However, they will give concepts for which there will not be words. Their communication is achieved as a combination of hand and mouth speaking, for these are air breathers. These have a compartmentalized double-lung, very much like those who exist upon this planet.
“What is their intelligence? For instance, approximately sixteen thousand years before this date, they had a problem that was solved extremely quickly by a certain astronaut. Their problem was that certain parts of hair upon the body of, not themselves, but others, had a tendency to wrap itself around circular objects because of electrostatic [electricity]. It became a tendency for those who traveled, to daily pull hair away from certain portions of the body, very much as certain men shave on this planet. The desire to enhance beauty is also very common in the universe. This was then solved – as was solved most recently [on earth] – by coating the area with a foam compound first and then not shaved, and the hairs and the foam drifted together and made [the hairs] thicker. They saw how it was solved more recently here on this planet and [they] enjoyed the ease of the solution.
The Men from Bootes (the Grays)
“Of the stars in the system Bootes, there are three that are mainly inhabited. The three main stars in this system can be joined by a triangle… starting with Arcturus (36.7 light years from Earth). The people of these stars are very different. Some are short; some are large (tall); some are those whom we have described. There is a mixture of all of these [races] on all three [stars], for there has been contact [among] these [races] for two-point-seven-six million years.
“Realize that each growth, each entity, basically uses the word “man” whether it is of one form of life or another. All races call themselves “man” or “people” or “congregation”, each name exists. That is a universal within almost the entire universe.
“Their [skin] color is light beige, for that was the best color to absorb certain light frequencies that were available on their own sphere. They are physiologically different from yourselves, for the chest structures, body structures are different, breathing is different, thinking is different.
“Their height averages between five foot ten inches to six foot six inches. Their weight [averages] between one hundred and seventy [pounds] to two hundred and ten pounds. Their rib structure is flat, sliding ribs, one over each other; almost impenetrable to thorny, spiked objects. You will note to their fingers that there are four, not five, although they have opposing thumbs.
“The temperature of their skin is approximately one hundred and three degrees fahrenheit; temperature of the body, approximately one hundred and twenty-five degrees fahrenheit. They are resistant to almost all disease organisms of Earth; however they are considerably worried about mutation of disease, for that is an area in which there is a problem [for themselves]. They are bisexual, bifurcated (divided into two branches or forks) and humanoid.
“Certain folds of the skin give the impression of the eyes being drawn upwards, and the eye would more pull into the iris vertically than into round shaping. However, there is a lactating (secreting milk) membrane. The mouth and the nose, as orifices of the faces, are not descendants (downward sloping) as are those of Man of this planet, who, being water-originating, was designed to prevent water [from] running into the lungs when dropped from above. Being descendants causes water to run away from the lips and nose. However, their faces have not been affected by those particular circumstances and therefore, the noses are much smaller, without the projection. Their mouths and the area around the skin of the mouth is very smooth. The tongue is set back further into the mouth and the teeth are of slightly different composition, particularly in that there [are] fifteen teeth to the bottom and twenty [teeth] above. They are not incisors or cutting teeth, but mainly grinding teeth.
“They are used to somewhat lower light levels, but higher heat levels and therefore, [they have] a problem with sunlight. Their planet has a lower degree of humidity, and there is an acridity in the atmosphere, since it has a much higher methane level, caused by decomposition of growing plants many years before.
“Their sexual organs do not have the same shaping of Man’s, yet they have the same concept, although more to that which would be considered oviparian (oviparous – reproducing by eggs). However the construction of the genes would not allow cross-mating. That is why there has been the considerable examination of those that have been taken aboard certain UFOs as to the composition of the cellular structure of the body.
“Their method of communication is oral, since they are air breathers and have therefore developed membranes into the throat to cause vibrations and alterations in pressure of air. Being extremely curious people, many of them are linguists and do not speak only English, but many of the English variants and other language variants. The only languages that have not been studied with any fullness are those that have not been broadcast [by radio], you see.
“To describe their culture and lifestyle would be almost meaningless, so strange that it would be hard to understand. There are certain areas in which there is impingement (having an effect or impact). For them to gaze at a yellow color for approximately four to ten minutes, the intense satisfaction gained from it is physiological culture. Yet for them to see individuals reading [news]paper is somewhat hard for them to believe or understand.
“Imagine an enclosed area, imagine it darker than this, hotter than this, where each individual can easily touch and be in contact with the other individuals close by, physically and mentally. Think of this as somewhat ‘womb-like’ and you will have an impression of how they live and feel.
“They are adventurous, and curiosity is one of their strongest traits. Yet because they are curious, they realize how they themselves can be affected by the curiosity of others. This has caused problems for those investigating, yet their curiosity has caused them to judge things accurately as to the effect of a curious individual upon them. So they themselves are extremely wary of that which they investigate, yet they have not lost the investigatory ability. They feel man on this planet does not know how to handle curiosity. They are so adventurous as to leave security [behind], for they know that they can establish their own securities wherever they are. They are intensely secure. Those who come to this planet will be secure in their ambassadorship, for you cannot send an insecure ambassador.
“Those from the system Bootes are sometimes similar [to Man], sometimes not. The rituals are different. The methodologies are different. This is why we said earlier that the men of this Earth are admired for the way in which they are culturally, much different: mentally, much different.
“They admire [our] ability to construct because they do not see how easily it is solved. When you can construct anything with the blink of an eyelid [as they can], you forget how to construct other than with the blink of an eyelid. You forget. They work very, very well with thought forms, very well in the manipulation of metals in thought. The concept of adhesives has left them and they have relearned adhesives from this world.
“They have been known by many names, sometimes called Court Elders or Wise Ones. However, that term has been used in many ways. These individuals left certain records (Dropa stones2) with some tribes in China, on discs. Several of these discs still exist (as at 1978) in China; several are in Moscow. The story says, “Men came from the sky and we talked with them. Some of us left when they left.” Some people did go with them because they were friendly.
“In some ways it is easy to describe these men from Bootes; in some ways it is not. To describe the taste of vanilla is somewhat hard. To say it is not as chocolate, it is not as strawberry and, if you know chocolate and strawberry, then you eliminate those tastes. It is hard on this world for certain individuals to see the thinking of others who live only one door away from them; or living in another country on the other side of the world, [it is] hard to see why they do what they do.
“We give you one universal state which exists in almost every world – which makes this almost universal: There is not one state of man on any earth anywhere who does not have the capacity for laughter. The triggers that make laughter are not the same, but they can be learnt, for they are mainly cultural triggers. Become multi-cultural, and there are more areas about which to laugh.”
Michael’s Impressions
“The eyes are very large and have a slight fold. Every time they close their eyes, a membrane goes across, almost like an alligator’s eyes or more like a cat’s eyes – and then the eyelids went down vertically. This is necessary because of the dust. They are set back further to the side of the head so that their field of vision is very wide, more than 180 degrees. Their noses are very small, mouths very rounded, hair is tufty. They are almost like water creatures.
“I saw them in a craft of some kind. They did not seem to be wearing anything, for it was very warm in there. They find our Earth very chilly, in places. They would be able to walk out in a very hot sun and say, “This is very pleasant. A most pleasant day,” while we would be gasping with the heat. However, they do not like the sunlight itself, for they find it too bright.
“Their star (Arcturus) is very infra-reddish, down in the red spectrum, pink. Their homes are almost like an oval nest, everybody touching each other. It was almost like a pink igloo, or a pink egg. It is extremely efficient.
“They used to play a children’s game with colored tiles. A gift for a child would be to present him with [a] new color. They stay away from many colors; they do not have multi-colored things around; a children’s toy is colored tile. To sit and look at colors is a child’s occupation; adults do not do it. However, a child will sit down and, for an hour, look at a colored tile because the color is so new, as they grow up.”

“The shape of many UFOs is a concave disc that supports a landing tripod that can be drawn into the vehicle. This landing pod – not pods, but pod – supports the vehicle on three points and are self-levelling to give levelness in any landing situation.
“Now the reason for the air-foil shape of many of the UFOs… is atmospheric. They can move through an atmosphere in that shape and can be stored as one would stack dishes or saucers. The long, tubular shape that is formed by the stacking of these air-foils forms the basic shape of the ‘mothership’.
“The material from which these air-foils are made would best be described as a ‘collapsed metal’. It is metal that has its density increased. The space between the atoms and the molecules has been decreased and this has been done by decreasing the pull between each atom – not increasing it, but decreasing [it]. Therefore, the metal must clutch to itself closer. Many have tried to make metals stronger by forming a stronger pair-bond between atoms. The object is to make a weaker pair-bond at the sub-nuclear level.
“This then results in greater ease with which the metal can be worked. It can be ‘instructed’ to collapse and then [it] would be formed and virtually undamageable. When one realizes that consciousness exist in everything, then [one] can instruct [metal to collapse].
“The learning of this can also be taught. However, would you give that information to a civilization that would then make a stronger sword? Or would you give it to a civilization that would use it for stronger soles of shoes? It may seem that a sword is dramatic and that a shoe is not. However, an advanced civilization would make its shoes last longer than its swords.
“In the center of some UFOs there are three main levels and two in others – depending upon the size of the occupants, whether they are the tall ones or the short ones. The short ones can support three levels; the tall ones, two. There are places to sit, places to stand, places to feed, places to cleanse; navigation and power. That is all.
“No one knows the range of the size of the ships from the [smallest] to the [largest]. No one sets the full range. The only considerations that need to be followed are consumables such as food and certain other smaller problems.
“The control panel of any standard automobile is far more complex than that of a UFO. Mainly this is because most things are automatic. It is interesting to see inside a UFO once; a second time you become very familiar with it.
“There are two propulsion systems. One is a short and close action control system that works within several thousand diameters of the UFO. The fifty-foot [UFO] discs would go in thousands of fifty feet numbers. The short diameter propulsion system is designed for atmospheres and it does not split air, it makes no splitting noise, for it is a highly-charged object. It does not claw its way through the air, [rather,] it separates the air as one would run one’s hand between two sheets. This means that those air-foils have the capability of transforming time and distance. Note that invariably an air-foil will make a turn one way, a turn the other [way], then [it] will no longer [be] caught within the speed-time [relationship] state.
“The second propulsion system works… in thousands of the diameters created by a solar system or a star system. This is the method of powering the mother ship. There is a mechanism that is best described, not as anti-gravity, for it does not push against gravity; it does not pull against gravity, but that it does not recognize gravity. It is neither plus nor minus; it is neutral. Therefore, the power system has yet another portion and that is a drift engine, for, you see, the universe drifts. If you make yourself stationary in a moving universe, then you will indeed move in relationship with everything else.
“When you realize that time is not inviolate, then time can be altered. When one accelerates the speed across distance, [then] time dilates. If one shortens the distance, increases the speed, then the time elapsed is shorter. Alter the time, and the [relationship between] speed and the distance alters. You see, it is not a matter of speed across distance dilating time. If you have a system that would [alter] time, then speed and distance no longer become synonymous. This is done by a system of going at right-angles to time.
“When one crosses [at right angles to] time, one can take those distances and reduce them from distances involving time, then the aspect of time is changed and the distance is covered in a difference of time (delta time). Time and distance are not necessarily synonymous. If the constant is speed, then time and distance do have a relationship; if the constant is distance, then time and speed have a relationship. Alter the constant of time, and you alter the relationship which exists between speed and distance. The technique of this has been shared with many [civilizations].
“Now, in close-quarter work, certain other engines are used and these aid in the recognition of gravity. That which goes between star systems then unrecognizes time, then recognizes “stop”. Therefore, time plus stop equals speed. Where time has been changed and where drift has been established, plus force, one can stop, let the universe turn, and it does not matter if you go through the entire stellar system. It takes no more time.
“However, there is no effect on the chronological travellers, for each ages according to his [or her] own internal chronometer. The time that exists outside of themselves is meaningless to their age. Upon returning to their own home base, there is their own elapsed time, not a time dilation. If one had a time dilation, then the universe would be closed to all, for the civilization could go beyond its cycles. However, the system alters time as an adjunct to time itself. Time is divided; one [time] is twisted outside of [the other] time, and then [the relationship] between speed and distance changes, and works upon the internal chronometer of the individual.” 1
“If you want to go from one place to another in a so-called UFO or flying saucer, there is no problem. Almost as if you wanted to go from Toronto to New York, but you don’t worry about all the winding roads, you just go Toronto, then New York. Going from one point to another [point] without going between the space from one point to another point, like folding a piece of paper so the two corners meet.
“Einstein said that time dilates as speed increases to the point that you cannot go beyond the speed of light. It is like a triangle with time on on corner, [speed] on another [corner], distance on another [corner]. All you have to do is alter the time, not alter the speed. If you alter the speed, you will always have that line which exists between time and distance. But if you alter time, then you can do anything with speed you want. Time, distance and speed, none of them are synonymous.
“I saw a stack of [space]ships end on end on end in a tube shape, which was in a mothership, a storage ship, like a floating rehabilitation ship where you put everything to be repaired and restocked and change crews and everything, almost like a way-station.
“They see our communications as incredibly good in the daytime but terrible at night. We have to either do it directly, by voice, or by other activity. However, once darkness comes, our communicating ability is dropped by almost fifty per cent. Their communications do not have this problem.”
